Ms. Franke glanced at Ashe and Simon over the papers she was reading. "Hm? Oh, yes. Hurry it up, my next class will be here soon." Simon (successfully) grabbed a levitating dust pan out of the air and headed back to their lab station to sweep up the shattered glass on the floor. "This is all your fault, you know," he grumbled at Ashe.

"Send a complaint to the complaint box and just help me clean this up, alright?" Ashe said to Simon in an agitated tone. He levitated the glass shards and dropped them in an empty bucket while he scrubbed the floor by hand. "You said it was worth it though, didn't you? You got a..free snack out of it or whatever."

"Yeah, well... That was BEFORE I knew all the trouble we'd have to go through because of it..." Simon grumbled as he wiped down the counter. "It may have been delicious enough to be worth getting goo on my scarf, but that little taste was hardly worth getting stuck in there with you for ten minutes and then having to spend passing period cleaning. Oh, hey, look at that." He picked up a glass shard that still had a spot of blood on it and licked it off, careful not to cut his tongue on the edge.

Ashe shuddered. "Was that really necessary? Put it in the damn bucket, you hipster." Ashe grumbled and subconsciously started scrubbing the floor harder than before. Sure, Simon is his sworn enemy but as much as it pained him, he couldn't deny that he was still one seductive douchebag.

"Don't tell me what to do, nerd," Simon said, dropping the shard in the bucket with the rest. He turned around and examined the work station. "There, I think we're done. Go dump that glass and let's get the hell out of here already. If we run we may still be on time." He walked quickly over to the classroom door and swung it open, ready to dash out, only to come to a dead stop an inch away from a ray of sunlight. "Shit."

"Move." Ashe pushed Simon into the stray sunbeam and stepped in front of him. "The entire school is covered by a barrier, dumbass." Ashe crossed his arms stared dully at him. "I'm not sure how you couldn't have known. BUT, I must admit it was fun watching you play 'the floor is lava' around the school though!" He chuckled, his dull expression turning into a cheeky grin.

Simon screeched as he was pushed into the sunlight, only to stop a second later when he realized he wasn't being burned. "A barrier? Fuck, I should've known that, now I feel like an idiot..." He turned and glared at Ashe. "You could've fucking TOLD me you know. How would YOU like it to try dodging around puddles of acid only for someone to tell you afterwards that it was just water with green food coloring?" he growled. He gave the wizard a small shove in retribution, then crossed his arms sulkily.

"I'd feel pretty stupid. Much like yourself." Ashe replied with the most satisfied look on his face. "Well, I must get going. My next class is starting soon and I'd hate to keep the fans waiting." Ashe threw his cape over his body to cloak himself and proceeded to walk away from Simon. "Au revoir, Dracula! May we never be mad science partners ever again!"

"We sit next to each other, fuckwit, we're permanent lab partners!" Simon called back at him. "And that cape makes you look like even more of a douchebag than you already are!" He turned and walked the other way and sighed. Science class had been a disaster. The only good thing that had come out of it at all was a small taste of the wizard's blood, but it wasn't nearly enough. The vampire's stomach growled at the thought of it. Well, at least it's only a few more periods until lunch...

Ashe entered the enormous and regal cafeteria area in complete awe of his surroundings. There were many supernatural beings sitting and standing around either eating or socializing with friends, whereas Ashe hadn't made a single companion since he'd been to the academy. Just an enemy. He didn't care to start making some friends with the peons now anyway. This time was to be spent eating, not chatting. Ashe took a seat in the very far back of the room that was a pretty good distance from everyone else in the cafeteria and sat his tray down.
"This looks absolutely delicious!" Ashe was practically drooling with anticipation to sink his teeth into the expertly crafted salisbury steak that way on his food tray. He hadn't eaten anything this morning and lunch time couldn't have come any sooner.

Simon wandered through the cafeteria, holding a transfusion bag with a bendy straw sticking out of it. He took a sip of it and grimaced. It was thoughtful of the school to provide something for the handful of vampire students, but would it have killed them to at least warm it up first? He looked around the cafeteria, trying to spot someone he knew to sit with. However, in his search, he didn't pay attention to anything on the ground, and tripped over a backpack. He landed on the ground and his lunch flew out of his hands, splattering a certain nearby wizard.

Ashe sat in his chair in complete shock with cold blood splattered all over the side of his face. He slowly turned took a look at his cape which was ruined with blood and then turned to look at the klutz who caused this 'heinous crime' against him. Much to his surprise, the klutz was none other than Simon. "You!" Ashe sat up from his chair and slammed his hands against the table. "You did this shit on purpose didn't you?!" He grabbed the bloodied side of his cape and flailed it around.

Simon hauled himself off the ground, picking up the now mostly-emptied transfusion bag. He saw Ashe covered in the remains of his lunch and burst out laughing. "No, it was an accident, but I wish I had done it on purpose!" he snickered. "Think of it as payback for covering me in goo earlier." He looked at the wizard's blood-covered visage appreciatively. "Mm, that's a good look for you."

((you gonna give it a temporary nickname or what? :B))
"You being engulfed in flames would be an even better look if you ask me." Ashe replied with an eye twitching in aggravation. He got up from his chair and casted a small barrier over his food tray so that no one would mistake it for garbage and throw it away while he was gone. "I'm going to the men's room." Ashe said in a low growl. He walked towards the nearby bathroom with his arms crossed and shoulders arched with an overall grumpy aura surrounding him.

Not having anything better to do, Simon followed after him. "Hey, wait up!" he called after Ashe as he half-jogged up to him. "In case you haven't noticed, you've got my meal for the day all over your face and I can't exactly go and get more."
