"Thank you for your kind generosity, Ms.Franke." Ashe nodded. "We'll get right to cleaning then. Lets go, minion." Ashe headed towards the door and snapped his fingers to get Simon to follow him.

Simon spluttered. "Minion?" he cried indignantly. "I'll be your minion when hell freezes over!" He crossed his arms and walked over to the door, scowling. "And I'm not coming over here because you told me to, I would've done it anyways!" He walked out of the classroom and headed over to the nearby janitor's closet, carefully avoiding patches of sunlight.

Ashe watched Simon hop around ridiculously through the hallways in what seemed to be an attempt to avoid the beams of sunlight. "What the hell are you doing?" He said, looking back at him with a puzzled stare as he walked up to the janitor's closet.

"Dude, in case you didn't get the memo, I'm kind of a fuckin' vampire," Simon said sarcastically. "As in, I burn up to a nice little crisp in sunlight?" He reached the door to the janitor's closet and opened it, peering inside. It was a bit larger than he had expected; it contained not only normal cleaning tools, but many for taking care of the effects of spells or magical beings.

Ashe was already aware of the magic barrier over the school that was meant to protect beings like Simon from the harmful sunrays. He had half a mind to inform Simon about it since he somehow missed the memo, but it was way too funny watching him prance around the hallways. "Oh, silly me! How could I have forgotten." He snickered. Ashe bent down beside Simon to search for cleaning supplies as well.

As Simon searched for something he could use to collect the shards of glass in, he accidentally bumped the door. It swung forward slowly, and then clicked shut. The cramped closet was filled with darkness. "What the- ow!- fuck just happened?!" Simon rubbed his head, which he had hit on a hanging something-or-other when he stood up. He scrabbled at the door, but it didn't appear to have a handle on the inside. "Oh, FUCK."

"Goddammit, what did you do?!" Ashe exclaimed. He was pressed against what felt like a broom in front of him, but he wasn't able to make out anything since his eyes hadn't adjusted to the dark just yet. "Open the door already, Simon! This isn't funny." He huffed.

"It won't open, there's no handle!" Simon shouted, panicking. "And even I can't see in this godawful pitch black, night vision doesn't work without at least a scrap of light or there's nothing to see!" He stumbled back a few steps, inadvertently bumping into Ashe. "Fuck, how small is this place?"

Ashe began to panic. "What kind of a door doesn't have a handle?!" He shouted in confusion. Ashe felt Simon's back bump against his chest, which made him flinch. "Oi! Try not to grind on me, alright?!" Ashe said while trying to push Simon a bit forward.

Simon turned around and took a step back. "Ew, as if! The only thing that'd ever want to grind on you's a horny dog!" he muttered. "Can't you do the magic stuff and make a light so we can see? Preferrably NOT fire, I don't care to burn to death in a janitor's closet."

"Hm..I suppose I can." Ashe replied. "I haven't bothered to practice Light magic since I was a child.." He muttered while trying to remember how to create a simple orb of light. He clasped both of his hands together and shut his eyes as if he was going to make a wish and began to concentrate. After a few seconds, Ashe opened his hands and a small sphere of light appeared in the middle of them. "Okay, this is the best I can do. It's not much, but it's better than nothing."

Simon blinked as his eyes adjusted to the sudden glow. "It'll do, that's all I need to see perfectly," he said, looking around. He turned and examined the door again. "Yeah, no handle at all... Ugh..." He pinched the bridge of his nose and thought. "We'd probably get in major trouble if we busted the door down on our first day... But like hell if I'm gonna be stuck in here with you. Got any ideas...?"

"First period is almost over I assume! We just have to wait until students come pouring out of their classrooms and then we should start calling for help. Someone's bound to hear us." Ashe nervously pushed up his glasses with his index finger, causing a gleam to bounce off of the lenses. "..But if no one hears us, we'll just have to wait for the janitor staff to finally open this closet and who KNOWS when that'll be." Ashe grimaced. "I don't want to be stuck in this cramped room with someone like you! Why couldn't I have had a cute girl instead or just someone less irritating."

Simon rolled his eyes. "Oh please, a cute girl would probably dread being stuck in here with you even more than I do," he said. He leaned back against the door. "Still, we have a good ten minutes before the period ends, and Ms. Franke doesn't seem like the kind of teacher who'd care to come look for us..." He let out a despairing sigh. "And on top of everything, this place is so cramped that your stink is really starting to fill it up. This is going to be the worst ten minutes of my unlife..."

"My stink?! I happen to smell simply intoxicating. Like a freshly cut bouquet of roses." Ashe retorted. He pressed his back to the wall and slumped onto the ground. "..Ten minutes..what the hell are we suppose to do in ten minutes..?" He mumbled to himself while running a hand through his loose blonde hair.
